IT Outsourcing

We Provide IT Experts

Access exceptional IT specialists through flexible outsourcing models—nearshore, offshore, or onshore

Scale your team with top-tier developers who integrate seamlessly and deliver results from day one.

What Is IT Outsourcing?

IT outsourcing—also known as staff augmentation or team extension—gives you immediate access to pre-vetted specialists who integrate seamlessly with your existing teams. Instead of spending weeks recruiting, onboarding, and managing employees directly, you get experts who start delivering results within days.

How It Works

You define the role, skills, and timeline. We find the right specialist through our extensive recruitment network—including our database of 30,000+ IT professionals, active sourcing across multiple channels, and industry connections. The consultant joins your project within days, working as an extension of your team—following your processes, using your tools, reporting to your managers. You maintain full control over the work, while we handle all employment formalities, payroll, benefits, and administrative tasks.

Flexible Engagement Models

Every project is different. That’s why we offer three engagement models that adapt to your specific needs, timeline, and team structure

Individual Specialist Augmentation

When you need one expert to fill a specific gap.

Perfect for adding specialized expertise to your existing team, covering temporary absences, or testing engagement before scaling up. You get one highly skilled professional who integrates directly with your team.
Ideal for:

Specialized skills (e.g., Salesforce architect, ML engineer, UX researcher)
Temporary coverage (parental leaves, sabbaticals, peak periods)
Proof of concept before building larger teams
Budget-conscious scaling

Typical duration: 3-12 months
Start time: 1-2 weeks
Minimum commitment: None (though 3-month minimum recommended)

Team Extension

When you need multiple specialists working as a coordinated unit.

Scale your development capacity with a pre-assembled team of 3-10 specialists. They work together on your project, following your processes and reporting to your management, but with the coordination and collaboration already established.
Ideal for:

Project-based initiatives with defined timelines
Scaling existing teams for major releases
Multi-disciplinary requirements (developers, testers, designers)
Companies testing the Polish market before permanent expansion

Typical team size: 3-10 specialists
Start time: 2-3 weeks
Typical duration: 6-24 months

Dedicated Development Teams

When you need a complete, self-managing unit.

Get a fully dedicated team of 10-50+ specialists with defined structure, leadership, and processes. This is essentially your remote development center, but without the overhead of setting up and managing it yourself.
Ideal for:

Long-term product development
Companies considering Build-Operate-Transfer models
Organizations needing complete project ownership
Strategic offshore/nearshore partnerships

Typical team size: 10-50+ specialists
Structure: Includes team leads, project managers, and full-stack coverage
Start time: 4-8 weeks (includes team assembly and process setup)
Typical duration: 12+ months

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can a consultant start working?

From your initial inquiry to your consultant’s first day typically takes 10-14 days. For urgent needs with clear requirements, we can sometimes start within one week. The timeline depends on role complexity, seniority level, and your interview process.

What are the typical rates for IT specialists?

Rates vary based on seniority, specialization, and engagement model. We offer competitive rates aligned with market standards while maintaining quality. For international clients, our rates typically provide significant cost advantages compared to local hiring while accessing comparable expertise. We provide specific rate information once we understand your requirements.

Do I need a legal entity in Poland to work with ITFS?

No. One major advantage of outsourcing is that you don’t need any legal presence in Poland. ITFS employs the specialists, handles all administrative tasks, and invoices you for services rendered. You simply pay one monthly invoice—we handle everything else.

How do you handle time zone differences for US clients?

Most of our specialists are flexible with working hours and can adjust schedules to ensure meaningful overlap with US time zones. Typically, we can provide 3-4 hours of daily overlap with East Coast or 1-2 hours with West Coast. For teams requiring more overlap, we specifically source consultants comfortable with afternoon/evening Polish time (which is morning/midday US time).

What happens if a consultant doesn’t work out?

We want every placement to succeed, but if there’s a fit issue within the first three months, we’ll provide a replacement at no additional cost. If concerns arise, contact your account manager immediately—we can often resolve issues through communication or adjustment before considering replacement.

Can we convert outsourced consultants to permanent employees?

Yes, through our Try & Hire option. After six months of successful collaboration, you can hire the consultant permanently for a fee equal to 2x their monthly compensation. After 24 months, the conversion fee drops to 1x monthly compensation. This lets you “test drive” specialists before long-term commitment.

How do you ensure code quality and IP protection?

All our consultants sign NDAs and IP assignment agreements as part of their employment contracts with ITFS. These rights transfer to you as the client. For code quality, consultants follow your development processes, code review standards, and quality gates. Many clients use the same QA processes for outsourced and internal developers.

What technologies and specializations do you cover?

We cover all major technology stacks, with particular depth in Salesforce (1000+ specialists), AI/ML, and UX/UI design. From Java to JavaScript, Python to .NET, cloud to mobile—if it’s a mainstream technology, we likely have specialists. For niche or emerging technologies, we can leverage our network to source appropriate experts.

How does billing work?

You receive one monthly invoice covering all consultants and agreed services. Billing can be hourly (tracked via your project management tools), daily, or monthly depending on the engagement model. Payment terms are typically Net 30. All rates are agreed upfront with no hidden fees or surprise charges.

What’s included in your service beyond consultant placement?

Beyond finding and placing consultants, we handle all HR administration (payroll, benefits, taxes, legal compliance), provide dedicated account management, facilitate onboarding, manage performance issues if they arise, handle contract modifications, and scale teams up or down as your needs change. You get a complete service, not just candidate introductions.

How is IT outsourcing different from IT recruitment?

IT Outsourcing: ITFS employs the specialist, you pay us for their time, flexible duration, we handle all HR/admin, easy to scale up/down. Best for projects, temporary needs, or testing before permanent commitment.
IT Recruitment: You employ the specialist directly, one-time recruitment fee, permanent employment relationship, you handle all HR/admin. Best for building long-term teams and core roles.
See our detailed comparison table above, or contact us to discuss which model fits your specific situation.

Do you offer Build-Operate-Transfer models?

For complete delivery center solutions including dedicated office space, infrastructure, and full operational management with eventual ownership transfer, please see our IT Delivery Centers service. For outsourced teams without physical infrastructure requirements, this IT Outsourcing service is the right fit.
