IT Delivery Centers

Your Complete Technology Operation in Poland

Focus on building exceptional products while we handle everything else

From infrastructure to team management, legal setup to daily operations—ITFS delivers enterprise-grade delivery centers that let you scale from 5 to 50+ specialists without the complexity of doing it yourself.

What Is an IT Delivery Center?

An IT delivery center—also known as a competence center, development center, or technology center—is your complete, dedicated technology operation in a strategic location. Unlike remote contractors or staff augmentation, a delivery center includes everything: dedicated team, physical infrastructure, equipment, management, and full operational support.

How It Works

You define your technology strategy and growth plans. We establish the complete infrastructure—legal entity setup, office space, equipment, licenses, HR systems, and operational processes. We recruit and onboard your dedicated team of specialists who work exclusively on your projects. You maintain full control over product direction and technical decisions while we handle all operational aspects—payroll, benefits, compliance, facilities management, and day-to-day administration.

The result: You get a fully functional technology center in Poland within weeks instead of months, operating at enterprise standards from day one, with zero operational overhead on your side.

When a Delivery Center Makes Sense

Building strategic, long-term technology capacity.

When you’re establishing core development operations in Poland, need consistent technical leadership, or developing proprietary systems requiring deep institutional knowledge.

Scaling beyond individual contractors.

When you’ve outgrown staff augmentation (5-10 contractors) and need dedicated infrastructure, team cohesion, and professional management at scale (10-50+ specialists).

Entering the Polish market without setup complexity.

When Poland’s exceptional talent and cost advantages make business sense, but you don’t want to navigate legal setup, office space, HR systems, and operational challenges yourself.

Needing enterprise-grade operations immediately.

When your compliance requirements, security standards, or operational excellence demands won’t accept improvised solutions or gradual buildout.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to establish a delivery center?

From initial consultation to operational center typically takes 6-8 weeks. Timeline breakdown: legal setup and office space (2-4 weeks), infrastructure and equipment (2-3 weeks), team recruitment and onboarding (4-6 weeks, can overlap with setup). For larger centers (20+ initial specialists), allow 8-12 weeks.

What’s included in the operational fee?

Our monthly operational fee covers: office space (rent, utilities, maintenance), facilities management (security, cleaning, reception), IT infrastructure (network, hardware, software licenses), HR & payroll management (salaries, taxes, benefits administration), administrative support (legal, accounting, compliance), and dedicated management (Key Account Manager, Delivery Center Manager). Specialist salaries are tracked separately and billed transparently.

Do we need to establish our own legal entity in Poland?

No. ITFS can operate your delivery center under our legal structure, or we can establish a dedicated Polish entity for you—whichever makes more sense for your corporate structure and compliance requirements. Many clients start under ITFS legal structure and transition to their own entity later if needed.

How quickly can we scale the team?

Scaling within an established delivery center is fast—typically 2-4 weeks to add new team members. Because infrastructure, management, and operational systems are already in place, we only need to recruit and onboard the specialists themselves. Most centers scale gradually (2-5 new members per quarter) rather than in large batches.

What happens if a team member doesn’t work out?

We provide a 3-month satisfaction guarantee on all team placements. If there’s a fit issue, we’ll provide a replacement at no additional cost. Our delivery center managers monitor team performance continuously and address concerns immediately—most issues are resolved through communication and adjustment before considering replacement.

Can we visit the delivery center?

Absolutely. We encourage regular visits, especially during the setup phase and first few months of operation. Many clients visit quarterly for team meetings, planning sessions, and relationship building. We coordinate all logistics—meeting spaces, accommodations recommendations, local transportation.

How is a delivery center different from outsourcing?

Delivery Center: Complete dedicated infrastructure (office, equipment, management), strategic long-term operations (typically 12+ months), team cohesion and dedicated space, enterprise-grade operations from day one, seamless scaling within established center. Best for building strategic technology operations at scale.
Outsourcing: No dedicated infrastructure (remote or client office), flexible duration (hours to years), individual specialists or small teams, faster start (1-2 weeks), easier to start/stop. Best for project-based needs or testing before larger commitment.
See our detailed comparison table above, or contact us to discuss which model fits your specific situation.

What about intellectual property and security?

All team members sign comprehensive IP assignment agreements and NDAs as part of their employment. All IP created belongs to you. For security, we implement enterprise-grade infrastructure: secure network architecture with VPN access, GDPR-compliant data handling, ISO 27001-aligned security protocols, regular security audits and compliance reviews, and physical security (access control, surveillance) at facilities.

Do we have to transfer ownership eventually?

No. Transfer is optional, not required. Many clients prefer long-term managed service, appreciating professional operations without the burden of running Polish HR, facilities, and compliance themselves. Others eventually transfer when they reach significant scale or strategic reasons require direct ownership. The choice is yours, and timing is flexible.

How does pricing compare to establishing our own operations?

Establishing your own Polish operations typically requires: significant legal setup costs, office space (advance deposits plus buildout), equipment and licenses per specialist, dedicated HR/payroll infrastructure, full-time management team, and several months of your internal team’s time. ITFS provides all of this for a transparent monthly fee, typically offering 30-50% cost advantage compared to self-setup, with 6-8 week timeline instead of 6+ months.

What regions of Poland do you operate in?

We establish delivery centers in Poland’s major technology hubs: Warsaw (capital, largest talent pool, international business hub), Gdańsk/Gdynia/Sopot Tri-City (our headquarters, strong technical universities, Baltic coast), Kraków (second-largest tech hub, university city, cultural center), Wrocław (growing tech scene, western Poland, good German connections), and other cities based on your specific needs and talent requirements.

Can we use our own tools and development processes?

Absolutely. Your delivery center works with your tools, processes, and methodologies. We set up access to your repositories, project management systems, communication tools, and development environments. The team follows your coding standards, review processes, and release procedures. They’re your center—we just handle the operational infrastructure.

What happens if we need to downsize or pause operations?

We build flexibility into delivery center agreements. If you need to adjust team size, we work with you on transition planning—typical notice period is 30-60 days for significant changes. If you need to pause operations temporarily (3-6 months), we can discuss options for maintaining infrastructure while reducing team size. We understand business circumstances change and work collaboratively on solutions.
