  • Recruitment Process: Short interview with ITFS ➡ interview with the client (verification of soft skills and general knowledge) ➡ technical verification ➡ decision

Scope of responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serving as Technical Lead for Guidewire projects (PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter)
  • Coordinating with client-side teams and business stakeholders
  • Planning, monitoring, and ensuring timely completion of team tasks
  • Mentoring and supporting the development team in project implementation
  • Participating in organizational initiatives and sharing knowledge within the team
  • Supporting the team in resolving technical issues and making architectural decisions
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites

Sought-after competences

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate IT environment in a similar position
  • Experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Developer in Guidewire projects
  • Experience working with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter
  • Very good programming skills in Gosu
  • Knowledge of Java and the JVM ecosystem (Java 8+, J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, SQL, PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate)
  • Experience working with application servers and messaging systems
  • Knowledge of good programming practices (Clean Code, design patterns)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with business stakeholders
  • Higher education (Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in IT, engineering, or a related field.
  • English language skills at B2 level, enabling work in an international environment.

 

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of Angular (5+) and Kotlin.
  • Experience working with CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization tools.
  • Experience working with a public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
